The TikTok dance moves that may appear at your wedding

Let’s face it. You have either heard about it, seen it on a friend’s phone, or got curious-bored at some point during the lockdown and ended up going down the rabbit hole that is TikTok. The video-sharing app has not only brought the laughs that almost made you forget about the doom and gloom that is COVID-19, but it has become a strong influence in what you are likely to see on the dancefloor in 2020/2021.

The crew at Majestic Wedding DJs have put together a quick hitlist of the top tunes and the dance moves that you are expected to know before you hit the dancefloor at the next wedding you attend.

Blinding Lights - The Weeknd

This is considered old news by TikTok standards, but since there have been no dancefloors since April, you will likely see this choreographed piece of magic from some of the guests at some point.

Savage - Megan Thee Stallion

This song blew up harder than Tiger King in 2020, so much that even Beyonce got in on the action and recorded her own version. Savage’s chorus will guarantee a group of guests giving the ‘Savage dance’ a try.

Dua Lipa - Don’t Start Now

Along with her new album, Dua Lipa managed to become popular on the TikTok charts, with her fans creating dance moves to her new tunes. Her breakout hit of 2020, Don’t Start Now, was picked up by TikTok superstar Charli D'Amelio who added her own dance moves to the mix.
